The midwit dudebro frat humor he peddles is such shit. I've intrinsically known this guy sucked since forever

another off-topic political post?

Remember when he did an entire comedy special as W? And you guys say Colbert is obsessed.

Will is such a polarizing figure in comedy.

On one hand, I can't fucking stand the weirdly cocky asshole-humour thing that he devolves into in so many roles. Many projects quite literally want that from him. But at his best, he plays the soft, loveable goofy teddy bear. He did this so well in his early days at SNL. He may received bigger laughs by being loud and doing his Ron Burgundy schtick, but everybody knows why Elf worked so well.

He has a kind face, an awkward body, and is just a big goofy fella. But for some reason he seems to oscillate between being the loud, boisterous, annoying crass character, or the meek, feeble, normie-guy. There's really no in between anymore.

But I do genuinely believe at one point, during his peak at SNL and first few years in Hollywood, that he was the funniest person in the world. Just overstayed his welcome.

I wonder if Adam Ray as Biden will have the same level of cringe associated with it in a decade

he's in an award spot now where now that he looks old as shit, both his gimmicks don't work anymore
he can't be the big goofy lovable teddy bear anymore because he looks like a worn out bum and the warmth is gone
he can't be the weirdly cocky asshole anymore because he looks like a worn out bum and it comes off as being pathetic

Nah the media refused to make fun of Biden so it wasn't overdone like Bush and Trump.

ironically ferrel couldve done a decent biden
>>
>>218207156
he did just the right amount of it
>once around debate time
>once at New Years at a treat for stadium fans
>final time as a set instead of a Doctor Phil one
he didn't overplay it like Ferrell did doing it weekly for years and then doing a full special years after anyone cared
