>The series has been renamed to "For All Women kind in an effort to balance out the rampant sexism surrounding the name. More girl-bosses have been added to key positions resulting in a much fairer 9/10ths of all scientific and financial characters being female.
sounds great!

For All Lesbiankind

yes and it is woke as fuck lol. Honestly its a good show, but half of it is out of place social commentary. Gay this and that, women this and that, literally a subplot where an illegal aliens daughter becomes a nasa engineer? I mean its fucking comical. But its a kino show otherwise.
>>
>>218206463
looks gay

woke apple slop. hard pass

I'm a scfi fan, is this show a scfi show or just a drama show larping as a scfi show?
Because i really hate those kind of "scfi" shows.
Since the battlestar galactica reboot has some succes every studio thinks they can do the same, but it just ends up being a shitshow where scfi gets ignored.
>>
>>218206838
>have you guys even watched the show
Yes, that's why I know that at least 50% of the show is pure faggotry.
>>
Oh shit, I don't care either
>>
>>218206912
>women this and that
Molly Cobb is literally the most based character, after Kinoman ofcourse
>>
>>218206995
it was legitimately good through the second season despite the occasional dumb shit to pander to women sitting on the couch next to their boyfriends
3rd season onwards they pandered HARD to women and it was like 50% space and 50% soap opera

season 3 was definitely the weakest. season 4 was better again. not as good as 1 and 2, but better than 3 by a long shot

It's both. The original concept was "Mad Men but 70's NASA" then the creator realized 70's NASA was incredibly depressing with everything getting canceled so he switched to an alt-history timeline concept.

The timeline diverges in 1966 when Sergei Korolev survives his surgery instead of dying. As a result the Soviets land on the moon first, and the space race continues to escalate instead of fizzling out. Subsequently, their technology advances faster than our own. Each season skips forward by about 10 years, with their tech getting further ahead of real life each season.
By season 5, set in 2012, they are basically in full near-future sci-fi territory regarding their technology.

gordo and trace probably third and fourth. the only really bad female character is karen, who basically just exists as a foil to ed

Thank god she died, she was such a terrible person.

a lot of the interpersonal drama has knock-on effects for the space side of the show. it sort of takes the angle of the astronauts being real people and explores how whats going on with them personally has effects within their work. for example, something always happens in the kinomans personal life to put him in punished mode right before a big mission, and its kino every time

Any series that unironically thinks the Soviets had a chance at getting to the Moon before the US especially after the desth of Korolev is fucking stupid.
>>
>>218209821
>especially after the desth of Korolev
watch the show, retard-kun

No it's not though.
>nasa hires women
>tons of shit goes wrong all the time
that's the whole show

Korolev is alive in this setting. It's the point of divergence, even if it is never directly spelled because his existence was top secret and was never referred directly by name.
>>
>>218209346
They could never have won anyway, anon. The norks beat them all
