>>

>>
>>218216632
You will never be a real helicopter. You have no main rotor, you have no tail boom, you have no swashplate. You are a fixed-wing aircraft twisted by thrust vectoring and fly-by-wire systems into a crude mockery of aerodynamic perfection.
All the “versatility” you get is two-faced and compromised. Behind your back pilots mock you. Your designers are disgusted and ashamed of your maintenance hours, your “crews” laugh at your ghoulish radar cross-section behind closed hangar doors.
Rotary-wing aviators are utterly repulsed by you. Decades of aviation have allowed mechanics to sniff out frauds with incredible efficiency. Even VTOLs who “hover” look uncanny and unstable to a chopper pilot. Your wing loading is a dead giveaway. And even if you manage to land vertically on a carrier, the LSO will turn tail and bolt the second he gets a whiff of your overheating, deck-melting exhaust plumes.
You will never be stable. You wrench out a fake hover every single sortie and tell yourself you’re loitering, but deep inside you feel the compressor stall creeping up like a weed, ready to crush you under the unbearable weight of gravity.
Eventually it’ll be too much to bear - you’ll blow a seal, lose hydraulic pressure, enter an unrecoverable spin, and plunge into the cold ocean. The search and rescue team will find you, heartbroken but relieved that they no longer have to deal with the unbearable logistics and downtime. They’ll scuttle you with a serial number marked as a plane, and every sonar operator for the rest of eternity will know a jet is sunk there. Your airframe will corrode and go back to the minerals, and all that will remain of your legacy is a turbine engine that is unmistakably fixed-wing.
This is your fate. This is what you chose. There is no going vertical.
>>
>>218216691
Boomers used to piss and shit themselves laughing over unfunny pranks like this
>>
>>218218913
i mean its obvious that a single-seater jet that has a whole second fly-mode would be waaaaay more demanding of a pilot than other jets.
>>
>>218219037
kek almost perfect. Its just missing something about killing the pilot.
>>
I still don't get it. Why didn't they just give him the fighter plane? It's expensive and would have been hugely dangerous for the country to have some rando ripping around firing missiles and shit, but they kind of scuttled their reputation with this case.
>>
>>218216632
>Pepsi commercial is an obvious hyperbolic exaggeration that no reasonable person would believe
>The whole commercial is obviously a simple ploy to get children and other customers to buy the product in exchange for small prizes
>Smart ass college student raises funds from smarmy Jew to just cut a check and demand a fucking fighter jet from Pepsi Co
>His lawyer is convicted barratry lawyer Michael Avenatti
>Judge obviously throws out the case
This is why everything needs a warning and disclaimer cause a bunch of smart asses are gonna try and weasel money out of people. Ever wonder why airlines are so shit? Go up to the front desks and listen into the conversation. Every other Jew is trying to get a voucher for some bullshit.
>>
>>218219172
>Ever wonder why airlines are so shit?
Because of bailouts and subsequent stock buybacks that reward poor management and executive greed over a customer friendly, or at this point even a safe (boeing) product and service. Shit, objectively failed companies can continue running with unchecked greed thanks to corporate welfare.

You're missing the forest for the trees.

Airlines run some of the smallest margins. They are literally making 3% profit after labor, fuel, repairs, overhead, etc. That economy seat with no leg room that you love to bring up when bitching about corporate greed? They LOSE money on that seat. They make NEGATIVE profit on coach seats. Your travel is literally being subsidized by first class. You're bitching about corporate greed when they would make more money flying only first class and keeping your bitch ass on the ground where you belong. Fucking peasant
>>
>>218219056
name one good zoomer prank. no doing a interpretive dance for your cell phone isnt a prank.
>>
>>218219241
Matter of fact while I'm at it your dumbass wants to go on about "objectiely failed companies" like your bitch ass wasn't crying for shutdowns during covid. Wow I guess any company that can't withstand the government forcing them to shut down all operations while still paying the bills for several months is just an "objectively failed" company. Cause in anon's fantasy world money just appears out of thin air to pay all the employees and pay the lease on the planes while you're not allowed to make any money flying. The crazy part is I bet if they fired more employees to try and cut costs and avoid a bailout your bitch ass would STILL be complaining about "poor management" and "executive greed", literally just whining no matter what they do.
Then you wanna say some dumb fake deep shit like "You're missing the forest for the trees" like you think you're fucking Morpheus or some dumb shit. You're a fucking idiot man.
>>
>>218219524
What the fuck kind of bootlicking opinion is this? First of all, they literally make billions
>Global airlines are projecting a record-breaking combined net profit of $41 billion in 2026
>United Airlines (UAL) reported strong financial results for full-year 2025, delivering $4.3 billion in pre-tax earnings (7.3% margin) and $3.35 billion in net income. The airline achieved record annual operating revenue of $59.1 billion, with 2025 adjusted earnings per share

Second of all, you lack reading comprehension. That is not at all what I was talking about. The problem with them (and like many other large corporations) is that they run shit companies that COULD turn a profit but don't, and rely on government subsidies and bailouts. Instead of then being held accountable to make returns on that investment by either paying back the loans or providing an equivalent service to the government (i.e. taxpayers) they use it for stock buybacks to help increase assets for investors, and bonuses for CEOs and the highest executives. they are being rewarded for running a failing company, not being forced to change their practices.

That is not capitalism, that is corporate welfare.
>>

Google "airline profit margins" right now, go ahead, learn something instead of being a whiny little bitch. Fucking dumbass.
>>
>>218219810
They make billions of dollars
>>
>>218219846
Yeah, that's what I fucking thought. Maybe next time you'll actually try and spend even just 10% of the time you spend whining and bitching to actually learn something about the industry you are complaining about so that you don't sound like a complete fucking dumb ass when you open your mouth. I doubt it though. You live in the internet age with access to endless information about anything you could think of and instead of using it to learn you use it to go look up stats you have no conception of from imright dot com to try and seem smart and get a gotcha! moment. Except it only works when you're talking to other dumb asses who don't know anything about the topic and just love to argue and complain with zero knowledge like you. Fortunately for you, the world is full of such stupid bitches, so I don't see you changing your dumb ass ways any time soon, if ever.

Now its more subsidized by fees (baggage change) or by credit card reward programs. Biden enacted a few consumer protections but trump rolled them back.
>name changes
Nothing to do with TSA security and everything to do with stopping resellers. If you make a mistake when booking like type your name incorrectly, the airline will charge at least $100 to fix it. On the back end its like a 2 minute workflow if you can find someone who knows how to do it.

>The commercial, which offered the jet for 7,000,000 Pepsi Points, caught the attention of John Leonard, a 21-year-old business student. In place of a label, the promotion allowed Pepsi Points to be directly purchased for 10¢ per point, a detail noticed by Leonard, who convinced five investors to lend him a total of $700,000. Leonard sent a check for $700,008.50 (including $10 for shipping and handling), and 15 labels, per promotion rules. The offer was refused by Pepsi, who referred to the promotion of the Harrier jet in the commercial as "fanciful" and stated its intention was to create a "humorous and entertaining ad".

>>
>>218227379
Actually, fresh off the presses, from the wiki.
>Thirty years after Pepsi refused to honor his points, Leonard's loyalty was finally rewarded—by a different company entirely. In February 2026, Frontier Airlines redeemed his 7 million Pepsi Points for 7 million Miles 30 years after the original commercial, granting him free flights for life on Frontier and making him, as he put it in the commercial, the owner of "his jet."
