Unironically basedWhy are Americans pretending you need to live in LA for work like this?Do it remote nigga LMAO
your country cant be called a democracy if no workers rights, that shit would be unthinkable in an actual developed country
>>218221011"Composer" is a little too boujie to be considered real work. Go apply for a factory job if you want workers rights, you parasite.
>>218221066>just go lose a couple of fingers for a paycheck brono thanks
American middle class are so strangeWhen I lost my job at a company I worked at food stalls in the meantime to make ends meet and then got a job for my qualifications 2 months later.Meanwhile Americans get laid off and they just sit in their room and scream on twitter until their money runs out You're not too good to work at a shit job to keep the lights on nigga just because you drew some fucking drawings online
Adult Swim probably found the sleepy cabin episodes where Zach said "nigger" and thought Trump was a funny person.
>let me tell you how your country workswhy do non-Americans always do this?
>>218221099The thinking man should have sone savings that can keep him afloat for a couple of months.
>>218221011>contracted to do a job>job finishes>no longer have jobthis is how it works in literally every country
>>218220984...Smiling Friends has a composer?Didn't Oney do the main theme?I don't remember much music in the show otherwise.
>>218221099You're not too good to mcwagecuck because you're a yuropoor. I'm a White American and therefore I am too good to mcwagecuck. That's the difference between us.
>>218221110So what does adult swim do now? I can't even name another show they have at this point. How the fuck do they stay operational.
How is composing music for a show with a handful of 11 minute episodes per season your full time job
>>218221674its called having 0 talent, you should be familiar with this
>>218221193Underscoring often goes unnoticed, but if the music wasn’t there you would definitely notice. A good score supports the action, drama, and humor without calling attention to itself.
>>218221188There was no contract work in the Soviet Union Smiling Friends would have been produced by the ministry of culture
>>218221204t. el Goblino
>>218221682>YOU HAVE NO TALENT>YOU'RE NOTHING >YOU'RE NOTHING!
>>218221753>Soviet Unionwhat's that>Smiling Friends would have been produced by the ministry of cultureno it wouldn't have
>>218221674i imagine most do several projects at the same time and are constantly looking for gigs to fill in the time.that stupid twitter shit doesn't say anything about fulltime job. just "looking for work". which is like default state when being in that business. unless you're rich and famous enough not to care and then studios come to ask you to do the composing
>>218221893>>Soviet Union>what's thatIt was a white ethnostate that the CIA destroyed like Rhodesia and South Africa
>>218221099>eslI didnt read
>>218222089>white ethnostate that the CIA destroyedwhy are whites so weak?
>>218221915> which is like default state when being in that business.This. Although SF was likely his big paycheck.
>>218221110I don't see why people seriously discount this possibility Adult Swim is full of crazy leftwing lunatics and have aired bumpers shilling BacklivesMatter, Zoe Quinn and denouncing Trump voters
>do nothing>winwhy do 4chancore, discordcore,rlmcore "creators" keep trying?
the work for these types of shows are done through work for hire contracts. there is no "crew" that comes to work every day from 9 to 5. if those people already signed a contract for more seasons, they'll probably get compensated in some way. t. someone in the biz
>>218221193Oney did the credits. This guy did the intro and other incidentals and such.
>>218222230>do nothing>win>why does 4chancore, discordcore,rlmcore keep trying?what did he mean by this
>>218220984>compromise your work because your buddies need a paycheck>nah bro compromise for money that's the ticket>bro bro compromise for political brownie points you just gotta do itTwitter is truly a bunch of never been losers with no backbones and so is (You) if you use if kys.All this is based btw anything longer than 3 seasons is shit.
>>218221011You can't speak English.
>>218220984composer? did the show even have music?
>>218221011Aryan sovl>>218221066>>218221188>>218222333J*w fingers typed this

>>218222551very weak rebuttal. weak sentence in general desu. brazilian?
Who would win1.) Free market capitalism2.) Blue haired karens whose greatuncle owns a money printer
>>218222456People tend not to notice underscoring since it’s meant to be unobtrusive. They only pay attention to music when it’s a sung song or a montage sequence, but yes, the show had music.
>>218222605If you're that sensitive to rebuttal, then maybe next time don't say stupid crass shit like "music-making isn't a real job" because you might also cause a slight to other sensitive-natured people like yourself.
>>218222731you're going in the gulag
>uuuuh we didn't think we could give 110% anymore, we're burned outI honestly struggle to believe this, especially seeing as adult swim made them post a video on their own pagelike this is the zenith of your career, it's never going to be better than this for a fucking web animatorI get not wanting to become a rick and morty thing but the simpsons had like 8 with 20 episodes each of gold
>>218222783Why would they go along with adult swim being kikes and forcing them to take all the blame?
>>218222804because they may want to work in industry again so they had to play nice
>>218222551Bourgeois?
>>218221011>businesses shouldn't be allowed to fire peopleLmao why are communist bootlickers so retarded?
>>218221099>American middle classLet's see. Work a wagie job for 1/10th of my laid off job, or collect 50% of previous salary unemployment benefits for 30 weeks for doing nothing.what are you retarded?
>>218221011>your country cant be called a democracy if no workers rights, that shit would be unthinkable in an actual developed countryBritish TV shows used to be produced in “series”, with a certain set number of episodes contracted for, and the BBC would only make a new “series” of episodes, if the season aired and was popular. This is the reason there is such a large gap in time between series/season 1 and season/series 2 of TV shows like Lovejoy. US television on the other hand used to contract TV shows with a certain number of episodes, but with a cancellation rught, were the shows were in production while the shows sired, and if ratings dropped, the shows would just get cancelled, usually with a certain number of episodes unaired. The lead actors in the shows were usually under contract, and would get put into a different show that had already been written, since the actors were likely already guaranteed a certain amount if money for a certain number of episodes. Thanks to streaming, the British standard of ordering a certain number of episodes, and not choosing to renew until viewership is noted, has taken over as the standard format. As music composers etc. in Hollywood, they usually get steady work. If they don’t, it’s because producers don’t like their work.
>>218221099>When I lost my job at a company I worked at food stalls in the meantime to make ends meet and then got a job for my qualifications 2 months later.that's insaneI'll collect unemployment while applying to jobs appropriate to my qualificationsgetting a shit job to make ends meet seems like a good way to ruin your CV and get stuck doing shit jobs for the rest of your life
Im fine with the show ending but I wish they would at least end it with an episode longer than 11 minutes
>I want all the perks of a creative job but with the employment security of a civil servant
>>218221753And гигaчaд George would've approved of it. He did say they had more creative freedom there, after all
>i want a flexible and freelance job where i can pick and choose what jobs i take>but also you cant fire me even though the contract is up
>>218221099>american middle classThere are no american middle class. There's only the elites, the protected class and the serfs.
>>218222264>if those people already signed a contract for more seasons, they'll probably get compensated in some way.aren't future seasons "options" for the studio/commissioners? they can not invoke the option and no one gets paid.
It's because Netflix bought Warner who owns Adult Swim. AS is no more and everything is cancelled.
>work for super popular show>unable to find work afterwards you just suck dawg, go put fries in the bag if you can't leverage your fame to get another gig
>>218221099When i quit my job i had at least two other jobs lined up. If my company bursts into flames today, I'd have at leasr one place that could employ me on the spot.People just don't take redundancy seriously. Almost everyone is cruising on the edge of financial ruin, zero buffer for random occurrences.
