Movies back in the day I didn't watch because of their low ratings. These days they are way better than anything Hollywood puts out. It's like a renaissance in cinema before the two decades of getting rid of the malcontents.

Holy shit. I just watched this last night. It’s actually pretty good. Got any recommendations from your watches?

This is a bit later but I watched it recently and it's quite good. I'm currently watching Gothika a horrog movie from 2003 with Halle Berry and Robert Downey Jnr and it seems quite good.

I always liked that one. Though apparently the dvd version I had was an expanded and improved cut compared to the theatrical release that everyone shat on.

Now this one I’ve seen. I’ll watch pretty much anything with Joaquin in it. Hope you enjoy Gothika more than I did.

I'm guns recommend Rebecca, a BnW film that Hitchcock wrote. I didn't think I would like it but it was actually pretty good. Had some decent chills

Np, homie. I severely limit my time with film so I only try to recommend stuff that I know is pretty decent. I watch 25 hours of movies and tv a year and have been doing that since 2007. I read a lot so when I do find a good film, I take notice (I also write it down so I don't forget)

The good thing about pre-2010 movies is the cast was majority (if not all) white -- esp in period piece films. Blacks, gays, and trannies were, for the most part, relegated to minor roles. The extended version of The Wolfman is much better than the theatrical cut, too.

I always liked it, though saw it only once in theaters. Should check out the longer Director's Cut.
