As a standalone film I think so too, but not having Rachel Weisz and Rick having a beefy chad kid made it feel not like a proper Mummy movie.

I didn't think it was that bad when i first watched it years ago, but i think i just liked the yetis.
I got baked and rewatched it not too long ago, and goddamn, it feels like a quarter or more of the movie is just closeups, or characters talking to somebody not on screen, took me right out of it. You can feel the lack of chemistry between frasier and not-evy.
