For a game series called Resident Evil, being in an actual residence doesn't happen very often. RE7 is pretty much the only game where you're in a residence.

I think the title is a play on words. They've likely changed Bryan from a courier to a resident working at the hospital who is tasked with delivering the mystery cooler that is supposed contain an organ, but in fact contains a serum.That's just my speculation, though.
