I want to see George Lucas' microverse trilogy. That sounds more interesting than the sequels and prequels combined.

>AHHHH HELP ME DISNEYMAN IM GOING INSAAAAANE ARE THOSE FUCKING MITOCHONDRIA
>>
Take me back to the time when midichlorians were the dumbest thing to come out of star wars
>>
Midichlorians are no different from talent. Never saw the problem.
>>
Considering Lucas backtracked and said midichlorians are just the vehicle of the Whills, I think it'd be less interesting than the biological determinismkino we imagine. Sith made a lot of plagues btw

There wasn't actually going to be any "microverse." People misinterpreted Lucas saying "go into a microbiotic world" as characters literally getting shrunk down to microscopic scale, when all he meant was that the microbes of Star Wars (midi-chlorians and the Whills) would be elaborated on more.

I used to work at LucasArts and later LuscasFilm and George had some really cool ideas regarding it. I've posted about it before, but it's never gotten much traction.

>George Lucas loved The Matrix and Lord of The Rings, felt they were pushing story telling and technology into the right direction.
>The "Microbiotic world" was going to be where Force Ghost Obi-wan, Yoda and Anakin reside, which would have good and evil there.
>The reason he removed Sebastian Shaw from the ending of ROTJ was to allow Hayden Christensen to play Anakin in a sequel trilogy
>The micro world and the Whills would be like entering the matrix, this second world that some force users can learn to go to. Your body would lay dormant, like The Matrix/John Carter
>Inside this world, there's no lasers or lightsabers, all combat is with metal weapons, and it's a fluid like space, like Flash Gordon.
>Darth Maul would be alive and working for plagueis who is in the micro world. After Palpatine died, Plagueis was able to influence the real world again
>Dying in honorable combat is a way for some to enter the micro world, like Valhalla. This would allow some non-force users to return as characters. George was going to keep Chewies death in the books canon.
>the force is quite literally the waging war inside the micro world, and in order to guide people and help those in the real world, they have to win wars and take over Whill castles.

He had no solid story, just notes and ideas, and we'd work on concepts based on them. And no I don't have any of it, it's all property of disney.

"talent" is an unquantifiable concept. Midichlorians were a measurable physical substance.

have you guys heard about this fringe woo notion of the 'dna molecule'?
>>

he backtracks on everything though. Dude cannot make up his mind.

It sounds cool. Almost like a Philip Dick story

Lucas was always good at ideas, not so much implementing them.
