Isn’t it kinda weird that in the universe of the Scream movies, there are in-universe movies based off the events?Isn’t that like making a franchise based off Jeffrey Dahmer?
>>218230535It's one of the most creative things done in the horror genre. However Scream 3, 4, and 5 beat you over the head with it to the point where they realized they need to move on from Stab movies being so central to the plot.

>>218230535 (OP)>Isn’t it kinda weird that in the universe of the Scream movies, there are in-universe movies based off the events? The events were turned into a book called The Woodsboro Murders, then the book was picked up by a b-grade Hollywood studio that cranked out a cheesy horror movie, and then decided to make more sequels.
are scream 1 to 3 the only ones worth watching?

>>218231554The first one is the only good one>b-but 2!Has a really dumb twist and is generally dull and uninteresting until the final third. Also bald Jada is gross
>>218230535>Isn’t that like making a franchise based off Jeffrey Dahmer?Sounds like something Netflix would do
>>218230535Americans (especially the female ones) love worshipping killers so it is considered normal.
>>218231554Depends what you like it for.5 has good meta commentary.4 was entertaining, more than 2 & 3.1 is the only genuinely good one tho
>>218231699I like 3, it's underrated
