Does anyone else self insert themselves into the main character of a movie/show and in real time imagine what you would do or say in response? Or am I just autistic?
I self-insert my
>>218232489No>am I just autistic?Possibly just very lonely
>>218232552:(
I frequently pause the show or movie and add my own dialogue like I'm in the scene

>>218232489Yes, but only in movies starring Leonardo Dicaprio. I imagine myself being Leonardo Dicaprio, saying all the lines Leonardo Dicaprio would say, but in the exact same voice he's using, doing everything exactly like he does in the movies. I don't particularly like Leonardo Dicaprio, but I could be him if I wanted to, live his life, play all his parts, sleep next to his wife and his children, like Leonardo Dicaprio does in real life. Everyday I would wake up and remind them that I am Leonardo Dicaprio and that they are the wife and children of Leonardo Dicaprio, which is me. The attached image shows me doing my Leonardo Dicaprio impression. It is indistinguishable from the one on the screen. If I had any friends, they would constantly tell me how much I look and talk like Leonardo Dicaprio and that it would only be ethically acceptable to get Leonardo Dicaprio out of the way and occupy his identity, because no one would ever notice. Leonardo Dicaprio probably wouldn't even mind it myself. He would look down from heaven and say: "This man is me, there is no difference between us, except him being better at every single aspect of our life". It would be better for all of us.
>>218232489I don’t know if that behavior means you’re autistic, but posting frogs sure as hell does
Depends on the media. I also read a lot but some characters and things are too far out there even if I like it.A lot of the time it would be like oh I guess I'd just fucking die or fuck this up. No shot.
>>218232597You could also just have a super imaginative mind. Ever enjoyed writing?
>>218232489I do that. I also pre-envision movies based on the trailers and see how they compare to my imagination. Frequently, they don’t fly so good.
>>218233644Are the pre-envisions better or worse
>>218233320Spot-on, bro. It’s uncanny.
>>218233694Better. My Waterworld story is miles better.
>>218233727I know, right?
>>218233595Yeah actually
