4K is basically a meme, a marketing gimmick to sell new TVs and new formatEven in a movie theather you cannot tell the difference between 2K and 4KSpecially in the streaming services, they will stream you an absolute dogshit compresed garbage but in 4K resolution. If the industry would focus in color space instead of the solution we could have real peak image qualityBut sadly it would never work for the normies to buy the new tech, it's easy to explain the "4x times the resolution of 1080p" vs "90% of the visible color spectrum"
>>218232789It truly is over in burgerland
The human eye cannot see beyond 1080p
>>218232815Wat does this have to do with 4k resolution lmao
>>218232789I just torrent movies in 1080p 10-bit, and sometimes HDR if it's available. It is quite rare that I actually watch something in 4K. To me I don't see how anyone could say 1080p is unacceptable or "blurry", especially when it upscales so well to 2160p anyway.
>>218232789>you cannot tell the difference between 2K and 4Kare you blind? yes you can easily tell the difference wtfgo download a movie in 1080p and 4k and just pause it on the same scene and one will have pores on someones face and the other will have pixels
>>218232789No, it isn't. Going from 4k ato Blu-ray is an agonizing visual experience.
>>218232789My eyesight is so shit I can't tell the difference between 4k and 1080p
>>218234394I said in theathers, and in any normal viewing scenario. You simply cannot tell
