What's the third-biggest space franchise? Stargate is long dead, Warhammer 40K is too weird, and Doctor Who and Avatar don't count as space franchises.
>>
Dune is pretty popular due to the movies but it doesn't have the same pop cultural prevalence as the other two. Halo might have been a god answer at one point. Does Guardians of the Galaxy count?
>>
"Warhammer is too weird "

It is literally more popular then Star Trek at this point and more relevant culturally world wide..

Halo, probably. Not that that's even a very big deal at this point.
Aliens?

Tell me the last time you played a Star Trek video game.. or knew of someone looking forwards to it.

Depends on what decade or specific years you want to pick. It has varied from Space:1999 to Buck Rogers in the 25th Century to Battlestar Galactica to Space Above and Beyond to Babylon 5 to The Expanse as whatever flavor of the season show got passed off as the Star Trek/Star Wars alternative.

I'm never seen a Warhammer movie.

You will. Right after Henry's Eisenhorn show takes the world by storm
>>
It's the Aliens franchise, everybody has watched those. No it isn't a Japanese robots or some autistic tabletop game, you tell most of the posters here never go outside.

Warhammer needs to monetize more aggressively like Pokemon.
