Sony can deploy as many bots as they want to spam positive reviews of this garbage but the box office tells the real story here. 28 years later sucked but this was like the worst film I’ve seen in 2 years. Please tell me the 3rd one is cancelled?!

The 3rd one is not canceled, though might be delayed while the series changes hands from Sony to Netflix or something

I tried watching a bit and there was this OK old dude at first and then it switched to some garbage bleached chavs and I deleted this shite
>>
It’s kinda sad that Jack O'Connell has been typecast as a villain

Bone temple, the movie in general but specifically the infected are so far removed from Days that it’s like why’d they bother making this the same franchise at all?
>>
>>218233919
I don't know why they abandoned the blood in the eyes rule so much in these new movies. I guess Kelson figures it out with iodine. But everyone else using melee without a mask is not a hard rule to follow, it doesn't tie your hands.

Okay defend this piece of shit I’ll wait.

This would’ve gone straight to DVD in 2007. It’s that bad.

The recently infected still have the bloodshot eyes.

Ralph Fiennes is awesome good camera work and plot
>>
It was just kind of weird. And I don't really get the whole spiritual angle. They were going for with these films like everyone was just wanting zombie keno, and they gave us some weird the pseudo intellectual good and evil debate instead

Bone Temple was about how British culture sucks and the so-called "violent savages" invading their country are just misunderstood.
>>
>>218234590
The first 2 movies are just pure zombie action. They had to add something new.
>>
>>218235497
The first movie has barely any zombie action and the third act is Cillian going berserk
>>
>>218233167
it's pure kino actually

everyone as in all the people with no taste

>penis
>cringe satanism elements
>20 minutes of a family getting skinned alive in the barn
>another 20 minutes or two naked men dancing
>10 minute monologue about never forgetting evil Nazis and the holocaust
>less than 3 minutes of infected in the movie
IT WAS SHIT. Which part did you enjoy most ya gay queers?
>>
>>218235418
yea man the cannibalistic monsters are misunderstood. is that what u got from it?
>>
>>218235548
The first one has many scenes with them being chased by infected but yeah there are others in the military base and they just hiding. This is not like that movie World War Z where there are hundreds of thousands of zombies attacking places.
>>
>>218235418
Starmer?
>>
The satanic dude being crucified upside down saying “father why have you forsaken me” was the the most obvious and gayest shallowest conclusion. If you thought that was good or cool but especially “deep” you genuinely have a really low iq. Theres nothing remotely original about that and it’s unearned because the character development was non existent. The random shoe horned jump scare made me lol it was so retarded. This is a movie loved by the most retarded of retards.
>>
>>218235236
There’s a lot of reasons it’s garbage but the most crucial one is if we are meant to follow Spike through the trilogy this movie served no purpose for, and actually undone his character development in the first film. Felt like he was barely in it honestly.
>>
The problem with franchises is that people go to the cinema wanting to see the same type of movie they liked before and they don't understand that the story has to advance, you can't have movie after movie of the same thing, people running from infected and hiding. Now it's 28 years after the start of the infection and you have to focus in other themes, basically how people live in that post apocalyptic world and if there can be a cure or solution to the infected. And also that different directors with different ideas make the movies. People should go watch a movie like it's just that movie and forget the other in the past, not compare it to them because that is what often doesn't allow them to enjoy the movie they are watching.
>>
>>218235801
Well that’s major cope as it pertains to this franchise. They stole and introduced elements from fucking Left 4 Dead dude it’s lazy as hell. A naked Ralph Finnes came up with a cure made up of random existing leftover meds but the entire world (which is not infected and has moved on normally) couldn’t? Face facts the only reason the recent films are billed under 28 x later is because the studios didn’t want the risk and they were right about that because they both bombed.
>>
>>218235963
If you start doing that with every movie you watch most of them have plot holes.

Kelson started using morphine to calm the infected, that is not cure, it's just they being drugged. And then he continued investigating and found some cure. I don't see it so unrealistic. And we don't know if the rest of the world has found a cure, they haven't said that. They only said that the infection was contained in mainland Europe but that could be with some cure or with the military killing them we don't know.

What I don't understand is why the rest of the world don't rescue the people in the british isles. Why keep them in quarantine?
>>
>>218233167
All this movie made me want was a movie with Samson as the MC. Everybody else in these movies are boring to watch

He's great at it tho..

It was a great film that really spoke to the human condition and the demise of White British civilization

It was ok and I'm looking forward to the second installment.
