I'll never forget the first time i tripped acid. After peaking me and a friend decided to go see a movie. I guess the only thing showing at the time was crouching tiger hidden dragon....had no clue it was in subtitles before we bought tickets...it was a good one, anyway.
During the previews they showed the LOTR for the first time ever, theres this scene where they are each coming up and over this mountain ridge, kinda giving each character a second to be seen. I remember there faces looked really distorted and off, thats the first time i remember ever noticing the use of cgi in a movie. I also remember years later going back and watching that preview and you cant really tell.....my mind was just so hyper in tune i could see it being used. idk kinda weird.
