Lucas always seemed to want change Star Wars and Indiana Jones into something else, instead of maintain what they were. His idea for Indy 4 was to be a riff in 1950's movies instead of 1930's serials. Which, is just plain dumb. Make a new franchise to do that. Trying once again to change star wars from what it was to be more like the matrix?
