no. it's kind of a funny black comedy movie but the plot is garbage, and not clear if the movie is making fun of antifa retards and the comical caricature they have of the world, or whether it actually embraces that caricature and presents it as true

it's a good movie imo but it doesn't really have much to do with Pynchon. it's not an adaptation at all, just loosely inspired.
as for the political messaging, the first 15-20 minutes are probably the worst if you're sensitive about that kind of thing. after that it becomes a little more satirical and becomes clear that the revolutionaries are pretty flawed people in their own right.

Don't bother. It has some fun performances but Anderson fundamentally doesn't get Pynchon. Other movies have captured his style way more successfully without trying to directly adapt him. This doesn't hold a candle to Under the Silver Lake, much less Southland Tales.
