New episode of Monarch is out, anyone watch it? I thought season 1 was decent, as far the Monsterverse goes anyway. The Russels really carry it though, the flashback scenes are always enjoyable.
I can't even remember season 1 though I'm sure I watched it. I remember main character man having an Asian Wife, I think...?

But if you can mentally filter it out then it's a decently entertaining slop. I like what they did with the Russells, I expected cringe from it but it turned out to be one of the most solid parts of the series.Though my hardcore Toho Godzilla fanboy friend says he won't touch it with a 10ft pole and neither should I.

>>218241457Finished watching, not terrible, maybe better than S1 because there is almost as much monster action in a single episode than in the whole S1.It kind of feels like a weird mix of Stranger Things and Evangelion Rebuild with the not-Upside Down and a rogue secret organization traveling on a ship.
