Watched this again recently with a groypette who wanted to watch a bunch of incel / chud movies like Joker and American History X. Then she went nuts and started harassing my friends. Really hurt my feelings because I had made so many excuses for her and she ended up betraying me basically. Not to mention it was fun browsing /pol/ with a girl and talking about retarded e celeb drama. I kind of miss her already. I have a girlfriend irl but she's antifa incarnate. Anyway she hated Diz until she died and then she felt sad about it. I forgot how much action in this movie just kind of drags. Its fun. I really wish it had had the suits or at least had them not just running around in a huge horse but obviously at the time special effects were limited.I've read the book and also listened to the audiobook while at work a few years ago, and I genuinely forgot how much the movie added to the story. The knife throwing scene and "I'm from Buenos Aires and I say kill em all!" Line are kino and I don't even remember if they are in the book but I don't think so. The latter might have been a chapter header. I remember saying it with my ex girlfriends brother in unison cause he was in the army and it came up once and he started to say the line and I jumped in. My ex hated that because she didn't like her brother so it creeped her out that we both quoted the movie at the same time.
