What the hell!? You guys said this was bad! It was good! Not a block buster good but entertaining and enjoyable. Silent Hill fans are a bunch of autist and contrarians. No better than Sonic fans who will flip out because Sonics arms are not blue.It was a good adaptation. The problem is that the SH autist wanted a complete game translation on screen. That never happened. I believe the movie made some logical changes. A lot of things in SH2 don't make sense. Why is a little girl(Laura) stuck in SH? How did she get there? Why can't she leave? It made more sense to make her an aspect of Mary. Eddie was just filler in the old games. He had no relevance to the main story. Everyone acts like Eddie was Tom Bombadil. I'm glad they cut him short. Angela's story was well translated to the movie. The cult being a part of SH2 was a deviation, but it expanded on Mary's story. The cult was creepier then the last 2 movies. It worked out well in its inclusion. The visuals, monsters, atmosphere, music and ambience was translated into the movie really well. The pacing was fast but it was fine.I think what people hated was how "unvideogame" like the movie was. No guns, boss fights, puzzles, locked doors, etc. They wanted a RE remake. The bakery in time ending was confusing.I give the movie a 7.5/10. It's the most SH live iteration since the last 2.
Be ashamed to watch movies the year they get released
