First couple seasons were fun. Like a modern Adam West Batman. All the lame ways Ollie tries to hide his identity. And even the melodrama felt like something you would see in a Green Arrow book. People getting addicted to alcohol or drugs and him desperately trying to reach them. The in-universe politics. Sadly, and on the note of politics, anytime I think of going back and binging this shit I'm reminded that eventually the writer's room becomes infested with a bunch of Trump hating, troons who need to remind everyone that being Antifa and BLM is heckin cool and if this hero was real they would be on the right side. The era of 2017-2023 is chock full of the most unwatchable shit. It's not even that its unprecedented.
