Good morning, saar

Ai will be the final nail in the death of hollywood and cinemas. This is necessary though to allow filmmaking to finally evolve as a legitimate artform instead of a commodity controlled by an elite few.
The second golden age of hollywood is coming to a close. There won't be a third.

AI can't even save itself. AI companies are hemorrhaging money because they still can't find a profitable use case.

That's why they will jack up the prices eventually. I imagine most of these tools will become prohibitively expensive for the average person

What they're actually making prohibitively expensive are computing resources. Basic components are quickly becoming a scarce resource most people can't afford.
One everyone's old PCs crap out and they realize they can't afford replacements, that's when they'll be able to sell you cloud computing.
Imagine everything you do on your end being processed remotely and streamed back to you. Only tech gigacorps will have access to computing resources and AI's role will be to simply process all of your request and beam them back to you. What they're claiming it will do now are just bait for investors to keep the demand for hardware increasing.
That's their real plan for the future. You will own nothing, not even your own 4chan post, since it will pass through their cloud computing network and be absorbed by the AI model before 4chan is allowed to show it on their dead website.

It will destroy movies and replace them as a superior method of telling stories.

Why did they post a 28 second clip to showcase a long-form video generation model?
Wouldn't it make more sense to post a 20+ minute clip, to show off your ability to create long-form generation?
>>
>>218425383
I'll just keep making more episodes for Always Sunny season 3 once a perfect video AI drops. And I'm set for life.
Also I'll make a Count Arthur TV show that actually follows the script of the radio show

>Why did they post a 28 second clip to showcase a long-form video generation model?
Remember last year when you insisted that AI could never make clips longer than 8 seconds?
>>
>>218425383
How long until you can feed something an entire extremely detailed screenplay and have it generate the movie? Anything that takes the power and control away from the jews is a good thing.
>>
AI is gonna be like VR. Right now its in the hype train phase but eventually it will be abandoned because its fucking lame

>>218428246
You're just stupid. Every little action quick cut close combat sequence will be done with AI and it will look a thousand times better than pajeet CGI.

You don't understand that it's primary purpose to replace transitional shots, establishing shots, quick cuts etc. You will see maybe 80% as film, the rest as AI interwoven between scenes.

What the “AI bubble” has going for it is most people are skeptical or dismissive of it. Most people are Krugman this time around and that is extremely unique and different compared to the dotcom bubble. It’s actually a legitimate good thing because it keeps a lot of the worst bullshit surrounding AI contained. The irrational exuberance is not there as much.
