My schizo thoughts on the show:The entire premise of the show is a hellhouse where the contestants are constantly degraded and humiliated, culminating in a 4 day long humiliation ritual in a single room where challenges get more and more degrading as the days pass. The website is built to evoke the feeling of a red room website, which is a dark web stream where people would pay money to watch people get tortured and eventually killed. The entire show was built based on that as its ending.To achieve this with maximum success, Sam and Jet always wanted final contestants that 1. were non-confrontational and resilient and thus unlikely to refuse to do more and more degrading challenges and/or 2. were competitive enough that they would be unlikely to quit the challenges. Everyone they eliminated over the weeks were people who didn't fit these traits. They were people that stood up for themselves by not doing degrading things or that got scared (Jon, Sylvia, Mauro), or they were people that got eliminated as a part of the ritual.Satanists believe that if they show you the evil that they're doing and you don't stop them, you're complicit in it and that it gives them permission to keep doing it. Simmons' elimination was the first time Sam showed you the evil he was doing and where the show was eventually going, and if you agreed to it and didn't stop watching, you were complicit and gave permission for how things would end. Letty's constant humiliations were also other forms of it.The original bad ending for the show was to humiliate and degrade the final two contestants more and more as the final 4 days passed until all their fans eventually stopped being their fans because they were so disgusted by what they were watching. They will learn from season 1 though and make sure that they pick two contestants everyone hates (i.e. two Lettys) so that when they're being humiliated in the final 4 days the viewers don't feel bad about it and keep watching. 2/3
