A4 is going to come out sooner than anyone expected. Maybe in 2-3 years. AI did good leap forward now (and even bigger in a year when they will approach post production) to be used greatly in standalone moments (i.e. acting, direction, camera work and editing will still be done by humans unlike all those jeet vids, but CGI on top of skeletons would be fast forwarded by AI). It will also make production way cheaper and that is also what Cameron wants to justify the work.

I had genuine trouble watching the third film and never got to see it again. I saw it in imax with my sister, and the showing was accidently 3D. We were sitting too close, so we both had sever motion sickness and she even had a few vertigo induced panic attacks. I missed probably 45 minutes.With that being said, what struck me was just how inconsistent this one was. The second film sets up that each movie is going to be introduced by one of the family members, a new tribe will become a major factor, Jake has to unite everyone. But it was pretty much just Avatar 2 part 2. The only part that felt new and exciting was when he was held in the human prison, that unironically should have been expanded into the entire third act. Jake trying to escape from the humans while Quaritch and Varang's new gang make things harder for him and what they do to hunt Jake down is finally enough to cause the humans to go zero contact with any Na'vi or Na'vi sympathizer in the future.
