I've been rewatching L O S T recently and main thing I noticed is that the soundtrack... is really good. Like, I already knew it was good, but it really stands out because it seems pretty rare nowadays? I thought about big hit shows that came after it. Breaking Bad uses music extremely sparringly, Game of Thrones has a strong soundtrack but mostly uses it to enhance its dramatic scenes, but the sort of ambient, mood-setting background music that is in Lost seems really rare nowadays. What's up with that?
>>218595765>Game of Thrones has a strong soundtrack but mostly uses it to enhance its dramatic scenesI really don't remember any GoT music other than Rains of Castamere and that Winterfell theme.
>>218596447Nah there are a bunch of scenes with music underlining dramatic entries and such.
Ba da BUM badumdum tsss…. BA BADUM badum da dum tss
>you all everybody>good soundtrack
>>2185970581. retard2. that song isnt too bad
I've never watched this. Is it worth it? I'm guessing it gets shit at the end like everything else does that was good
background music is a bit too unrealistic for modern television.
>>218598420yesI dislike the final season, but I also conider one of the latter seasons one of my favourie, one people generally dislike, so you know... you can have a good time. and even if it doesnt stick the landing, the ride sure is fun. it was a huge hit for a reason
before the world went WOKE... there was LOST
I rewatched it last summer and I had a wtf moment when I realized that the Firelink Shrine from Dark Souls is a ripoff of a track from LOST.

>>218598420if you're fine with everything being made up as it goes and there being no real connections between anything that happens in the show and the writers often forgetting what they wrote earlier, yeah, its "worth it."
>>218598707You should have a look at the cast and re-evaluate that statement.
>>218600231thats not fairyeah sure some things go nowhere, some things make no sense in retrospect, some things only exist because they were cool or mysterious at the timebut most of the stuff does connect, does make sense
>>218598420>I'm guessing it gets shit at the endOnly brainlets hold this opinion.
>>218604163But everything does so it's a reasonable guess
>>218598420>Is it worth it?yesseason 1 is some of the best tv ever made
>>218595765Yes Michael Giacchino is a great composer. Check out his score to The Incredibles.
>>218604163pretending you understood something to feel better about being jerked around is the definition of a coping mechanism
