Television and movies are the one commodity that the world absolutely does NOT need any longer. It serves no purpose in broadening or enlightening people's minds and souls. It is in fact to the contrary, as it placates them into a false sense of comfort by providing "necessary entertainment" 24 hours a fucking day. This "entertainment" consists of the same repeated tropes we've seen over and over and over again since the mid-80s. Thousands of channels of rehashed bullshit repackaged as new, and billions of minds continually being massaged into believing that not only is it right and good, but essential to life itself. By and large, studious/execs are evil, and audiences are stupid. Absolutely insane, absolutely satanic.
