I’d love to have tasted his original recipe 11 herbs and spices thing before they simplified it for mass market. The modern thing has been sort of backwards engineered by taste testers and it’s mainly black pepper, MSG, onion powder and various other things. You can tell by looking at a chunk of it that there’s no herbs in there, you just see flecks of black pepper in the coating.
