Saw this a few weeks ago. Yeah it was pretty good, I wasn't into it at first but the introduction of the teen made the main character more interesting. Nothing too original about how the stor played out but it was satisfying nonetheless. I also appreciated that they didn't slow the movie down with a detailed breakdown of the timetravel mechanics or even focus on it beyond being a plot device, not every movie has to be Primer. Good performance by the main pair as well.

That being said, I was slightly annoyed that her original universe is 00, implying there's some importance to having an ''original'' universe or something, I'd have preferred they go without co-ordinates if they weren't going to explore that at all.

Fair, but she also states that as far as she knows, her universe is the only one where they cracked multiverse travel.
I've seen some people complaining about the girl actress going over the top, but I think her acting was actually alright, quite realistic for a kid growing up under those conditions.
Anyway, hopefully we'll see more like that. The director seems interested in sci-fi and he did a good job so far.

We've been getting a lot of timetravel movies this decade, it's nice that it's almost becoming a genre. I'll watch Block Island Sound tomorrow to see if the director got lucky with Redux.

Yeah, I’ve been meaning to watch that one after checking out his Wikipedia page. I’ll definitely watch it soon. Synopsis sure looks interesting.

The subtle worldbuilding was cool. Very John Wick-esque, but less retarded (of course time travellers would want to keep their existence on the downlow)
