These movies are so perplexing. They're well done on a technical level, and a big step up from the previous two adaptations, but they're almost entirely bland and uninteresting.The scenes with the Harkonnen's are like the only time we're allowed to have some kind of interesting artistic flourish. Everything else is grey, dusty, and boring.
