Just finished re-watching this for the first time since it aired. Holy shit I'm glad I waited so long to finally re-watch it because it is KINO, truly the Gods have blessed me with good fortune in my patience. On to Gods of the Arena. Anyways, Spartacus thread, I also watched House of Ashur months ago and it was pretty great too despite the "woke" black womyn gladiator. Hope it gets renewed at least, I crave more Spartacus content now

House of Ashur is good, it is honestly great and felt like watching the original show again. I mean shit, Naevia is honestly a much worse character than Achilla is in house of ashur. >>218617299I thought it was 4/10. Achillia was lame and none of the other gladiators were memorable at all. None of them even acted like slaves, rather they back talked, acted up and never got punished in any significant way. The midgets were supposed to be a joke then suddenly were turned into some le bad ass boss fight. The new doctore was horrendous and meant to appear highly skilled but came off pathetic and barely able to move in fight scenes. Still, I enjoyed it overall and interested in seeing where they'll go with it. Didn't like nuCaesar so it was fantastic they had Ashur kill him off. Definitrly unexpected and opens up all sorts of possibilities for next season. I do hope it stays a gladiator show though as the original started sucking when it left the arena
