I kinda like Amazing 2... I certainly like it much more than the first. Its not a good movie or anything but it kinda has the same effect on me as Spiderman 3. I enjoy the villains more, I like the fights, I still think the Peter Gwen relationship is very charming. I'm much happier watching it than the first film where I'm bored shitless with the Parker parents and the Lizard being stupid.
i was talking to a friend about the most-recent spider-man movies not too long ago. he seemed to have a lukewarm liking for them, but i just hated them. he asked why, and my feeling was, spider-man only appeals by himself to awkward teens as a fantasy. to make a movie about him for anyone older to enjoy, it's going to boil down to his surrounding characters, and the directing. *that's* why the raimi films work, and none others have. there's his signature style, and any disinterest in the life of peter parker is offset by willem dafoe, alfred molina, and kirsten dunst being absolutely beautiful.
Dogshit movie names all sound th same. Haven't watched any of the Holland trash movies and shan't.
