Why didn't they just put way less effort into the Ted cgi and use a puppet for some shots? Why the fuck would the bear need to be realistic, who gives a shit? They spent 99% of their budget on this, the rest of the show was sitcom level cheap, but autistic obsession with making ted as fluid and animated as possible made the show cost as much as fucking Game of Thrones. I can't get over that comparison. A Game of Thrones level budget for a comedy show about a teenage stoner having low stakes suburban adventures with his teddy bear friend. This pisses me off so much

this is just depressing, first smiling friends and now this. No modern show can actually have a lot of seasons anymore. The last one I remember was fucking game of thrones.

Today syndication isn't the goal, so it's either powerhouses that go on for 20 seasons or in the door, out the door. It doesn't help that this show is probably no better than 4th or so on Seth MacFarlane's priority list

However they just skip out on important moments that american teenagers experience in that time frame like prom and graduation.
