>>

I thought "OK, I'll look down it until I get to the first utterly ridiculous entry, then I'll stop."

I got to #2.

OK, having a quick further look, I don't see:

— Moses
— Alfred the Great
— Euclid

so let's not bother any more.

I'm impressed the ai avoided repeating any numbers, it tried real hard to turn that first 9 into an 8 though
I can think of movies for way more than 5 of those people though

The ai that put it together is probably told to avoid talking about elon for being a fucking chud

ok /tv/, give me your top 10 by POSITIVE impact
>>

Yeah they've probably all been the subject of films but if you just restrict it to well-known films it's still at least half of them.

68 socrates 69 elvis presley kek
>>
>>218628373
Wut? The vast majority of these have had movies about them.
>>
>>218629682
Slightly interesting to pick the most ridiculous entry on the list. Maybe:

— King Arthur (didn't exist, probably)
— Tchaikovsky (did he really change the world dramatically? extreme doubt)
— Oscar Wilde (see above)
— Robert E. Lee (yeah, how would the world be different if he hadn't been around? probably not much at all. Or are people trying to argue that the South would have WON the civil war with another guy?)
— George W. Bush (I don't think any U.S. president has really had any power for a long time. What is going to happen happens. They can't influence things.)
>>
>king Arthur
>historical impact
>>
>>218629692
Haha I didn't even see Elvis Presley. OK, well that solves the question of "most ridiculous entry" I suppose.
>>
why is karl marx so high? yeah he was a prominent philosopher but its not like he personally led the communist revolution globally or ever had any power
like he was basically broke his whole adult life and only survived off engels and other rich friends
>>
>>218628373
>no mention of the 19th century American capitalist freemasons who were single-handedly responsible for the catastrophe of the 20th century and ushering in American globohomoism which brought us 2 world wars and taken us to the potential edge of annihilation with ww3 at the hands of their satanic pedophile inheritors

Yeah bro, that earless artist who painted a few pretty pictures sluts hang on their dormroom walls is totally more influential than Carnegie or Rockefeller.
>>
>>218628373
The Colombian exchange was the single deadliest event to occur until ww2. Colombus/ferdinand and isabella should be higher
>>
>>218629767
king arthur at least has cultural impact even if he was never real
robert e lee is just.. the guy on the other side who lost the war and he's probably there because he's on the american high school curriculum
>>
>>218628748
You live in the world created by America. You buy its products. You use its technology. You were forced to learn the language it chose to be its national language. You post on its websites. The planet is America. You are American. God is an American.

Not to mention the fact that van gogh was famously not famous in his lifetime and impressionism had pretty much finished by the time he became famous
>>

>>
>>218629682
If Robert E. Lee doesn’t fight for the north, the north loses the civil war, and the world would be a vastly different place.
>>
>>218628694
Americans don't know who is he
>>
>>218629767
>>218630160
Robert E Lee is significant because despite being one of the best generals of his time AND loyal to the confederacy, he knew that the war was a foolish waste of life and that secession from the United States was a massive mistake. The idea being that if either he or individuals in the confederacy similar to him were heard about by the confederate leaders, the war wouldn't have been so bloody. I'm not even American and I know that. I sincerely hope you guys aren't American.

>>218630239
He fought for the south.
>>
>>218628373
>Cyrus the great not in top 5
>not even top 20
>not even top 50
>NOT EVEN ON THE LIST
Amerimutt education. Just for the record, without Cyrus there are no Jews today and there is no Bible. And thus no Christianity and no Islam. But no, Grover Cleveland was more influential.
>>
>>218630395
Cyrus the not so great
>>
>>218630373
The point is, how different would the world be if an armadillo had fallen on Lee's head in 1860 and killed him?

The civil war would still have happened, it would still have been bloody and unpleasant, and the North would still have won.

So what would change?
>>
>>218630457
You underestimate the cultural impact of Wrecking Ball.
>>
>>218630395
Huge huge fan of Darius the Great killing Cyrus's son and then saying oh it was actually an imposter i killed. The real guy was killed years ago in secret and nobody knew :) so im NOT a usurper
>>
>>218630465
I get your point, and since we're talking about hypotheticals we'll never know. But I think what makes Lee historically significant is that if his advice was listened to by the leadership, the war would either 1. not have happened or 2. it would have been a lot less bloody. But if he died before the war started like you said, its possible even more people would have died in the civil war because the South's top general may not have been as realistic as Lee, and they may not have surrendered as soon as they did. If it were up to Lee, the war wouldn't have happened at all.
>>
>>218630465
Robert E. Lee was the backbone of the confederacy’s war efforts. Without him the north would’ve routed the south and it wouldn’t be the United States of America, it would be the American Union. One single federalist government. Which would’ve quickly collapsed, as the only reason the Soviet Union lasted as long as it did was Stalin being an autistic workaholic who actually believed one day he’d step down due to no longer being necessary, that the country would be a clockwork of bureaucracy that served the people. The US never had an autist like that. Robert E. Lee is the only reason the civil war ended with capitulation rather than a complete erasure of states rights.

Also there aren’t any armadillos in Virginia.

Not just an imposter, an evil wizard that had used his magic powers to impersonate Cyrus's son after killing him. The whole story is like some 70's fantasy movie, complete with a final assault on the evil wizard's mountain lair and swordfighting.
