>does an incredible job of immersing you into the world and making you not want to leave>great set design and wardrobes>Oscar Isaac has what's probably his best performance yetMy only major nitpick is that I wish they made the the body parts look more realistic and grotesque.
>>218629440I really liked it, too. The Creature was very compelling, a very good characterization of him.
too one dimensional
>>218629440>>Oscar Isaac has what's probably his best performance yet..... no? Isaac is one of my favourite working actors and his performance in this was buffoonish. The whole thing was empty spectacle unsupported by writing.
>>218629440>the creature expresses desire to breed>frankenstein is horrified at the idea>instead of outright refuting it>this implies its possible>this implies he specifically worked on the creature's junk to allow for the production and delivery of semen
>>218629440It was shit. Didn't sell it's sometimes whimsical fantasy, filmed in a clean TV advert way, lost any sinister and dark tone. It was like a Tim Burton film done by AI. Only positives really were some reasonable costume design, Isaac was good and Elordi was reasonable enough with what he was given.
>>218629440The creature was too good. Goes againts of the novel "Man should not play God" this one he creates a kind, sweet, guy.
>>218630246This seems like an interesting aspect of this film, which I haven't seen yet, by the way.
the terror?
