A big screen is nice but modern TVs are enshittified garbage with locked down firmware and hardware DRM and sometimes a requirement to connect to internet. For me it's a lot easier to manage a Debian server with Jellyfin on it. You can then watch on whatever device you own. If you want you can get a large-screen monitor, too.
