It's approaching season 30, and there hasn't been any significant character or plot development since season 18. I have to say it's downright atrocious, nothing that happens is ever driven by narrative considerations. It's a notoriously inaccurate reflection of the true world of fiction

Ikr. All the main character does is go to work and then home.

Which episodes are those?

The moment the MC discovers magick and finds out that reality is all a dream of his mind it's when the actual show starts.

After season 18 nothing good happens unless you watch the mini arc OVA’s. The college arc can be pretty good, the dating/marriage arc is alright if you’re into drama, and after that all seasons are just slice-of-life centered around trivial things that are only meaningful because the scope of the story is so small, like hobbies and raises and promotions. It’s not epic, but I can be comfy.

>nearly 30 seasons
>Not one explosion or car chase
