Isn't Sherlock supposed to be one step ahead of everyone? Why was he so stupid in this show?
>>
>>218632970
stupid writers. his "magic memory" carried him in this show
>>
>>218633053
The worst part was him not being clever. At least in Ritchie's version with RDJ he was clever
>>
>>218633196
Isn't this prequel to that?
>>
>>218633196
No he wasn't. RDJ's Sherlock only skill was fist-fighting and being able to tell chemicals by licking them. When he reveals at the end how he cracked the case, you just get a montage of moments throughout the film when he dips his fingers in chemicals, licks them, and briefly makes a ponderous face.

Tried watching it. Stopped midway of second episode.

You can deduce why, my dear OP.
>>
>>218633438
because you're a misogynistic chud

He's young.

Fine I’ll bite the shill bait this show has the best clever character writing in a pop culture trifle in forever. Better than your average Guy Ritchie movie and his Sherlock movie by a long shot. It was almost shocking.

Very true, but that is besides the point, my dear fellow. You are not describing the shortcomings of the show.
>>
>>218633651
Assuming you were mad about the love interest it’s handled almost exactly like your picture dummy

It is extremely irreverent to the books but also fun. Fizzles out by the end though. A solid 7.5 imo.

Guy Ritchie directed episodes were kino. I wouldn't mind a second season.
