It's literally "the power of friendship and kindness: the show" but somehow doesn't dip too far into stupidity/cartoony weirdness too often. There are times when it pulls me out, but they are brief. The acting is genuinely good, which carries the show in some instances, and even when it's bad, it's bad in such contexts/scenes as to actually be fine. Bottom line is it has heart top to bottom and a production value that can bring the weird "anime-ness" to life with all kinds of odd background characters and sets. I hope it continues for as long as it can because I'm really enjoying it.
