High levels of sci-fi kino right here, why did people hate it?

There was a lot of talk of how it ripped other movies off and was derivative, like somehow 99.9% of other movies don't do the same exact shit all the time always. It's a fantastic watch, I love the focus on music, the action is nice, the performances are entertaining, and the organ scanning scene near the end is one of the hottest sex scenes ever.

I loved it. Stylised enough to be interesting without being gimmicky. The whole sequence at the end of taking out the organs to put them in the machine is so well done. The tweest is dumb though.

They loved the organ reposession idea, but were adamant at dropping the musical bit, so the creator went to another studio instead. Isk if it's true or not.
