Its all inconsistent. They could have called it Attack of the Clone Babies. I still havent watched this movie.

To an obnoxious degree. Baby Yoda feels like it was carefully crafted in a lab to be as cute and marketable as possible, to manipulate you. There is no humanity in it, it feels eerily soulless. And they just can't stop beating you in the face with the unending stream of "SEE HOW CUTE HE IS, AWWWWW, HE IS SO CUTE, ANOTHER 150 CUTESY BABY YODA GAGS!" It is so forced.Baby Jabba can be considered somewhat unconventionally cute, but let's be honest - he is a fucking ugly, annoying, disgusting slug. He literally stinks, which is why he was called "Stinky". He cried all the time. He is also the son of a disgusting fat evil slaver crime lord. That's a lot of negative baggage here. But that's also the point: he was still just a child, and even a slug child deserves to be saved and taken care of. It's a really good message. It also serves as a better catalyst for character development of the protagonists. Anakin was shitting on Rotta and belittling him for most of the movie, because he hates the Hutts, and in his eyes just being a Hutt meant that he was "subhuman" and didn't deserve compassion, whereas Ahsoka took care of him, despite him being disgusting, stinky, slimy slug, displaying her kindness and compassion, which she should imprint on Anakin.Baby Yoda is just cute and that's it, there's nothing more to it. Of course, anyone would help Baby Yoda, he is designed to be cute. Mandalorian choosing to help him is not impressive. Anyone would. Not everyone would help Baby Jabba. There is a real character, and a positive message in that. There is really no message in Baby Yoda other than "buy more baby yoda merchandise".Baby Jabba is also funny as fuck. Just look at this nigga.
