>You hit me in the tummy! That really hurt!!
I don't know why but I still think about this line from time to time and can't help but laugh. The delivery is just too perfect.

it was but the first act is so rough i don't blame a bunch of faggots for checking out
>>
>>218664348
for me it's the chilli dog scene

>You killed my brother, in the name of justice!
>That could have been thousands.
>You shot him in the back.
>Hundreds.
>While he was fleeing.
>At least fifty...
>He was white.
>Ah so your Tommy's brother!

the infrared cooking scene made me cry laughing

and Pamela Anderson was just amazing at capturing Priscilla Presley's character from the originals, but Pamela was also hot af

>We'll cast Liam Neeson as Leslie Nielsen
This was the best bit.

just watched this less than an hour ago.. stop following me you turd gargler
also it was lame and unfunny, I smirked twice in the whole thing and that was for background characters' comments.
the writing was shit, the timing was off for everything - no one knows what comedy is anymore
>>
>>218664007
I guess I'm among third worlders.
it was awful
>>
>>218664007
Just watched this for the first time last night. I liked it, there were several gags that fell completely flat but most of them were funny and inspired. My only complaint is the casting of Pamela Anderson, she's just ugly. Would've been better with someone younger and prettier

It wasn't like a Zucker Brothers movie though. Fackham Hall was more Zucker than Naked Gun 2K25.

I expected it to be funny or at least somewhat entertaining, but it was painfully boring.
I guess it's a symptom of just how far the west has fallen.
>>

You actually couldn't predict it before the last two sentences?
>>
>>218664421
yeah I laughed
>>
>>218665343
That makes it even funnier. You already know where it's going
>>
>>218664007
no it wasn't
no one remembered it 3 days after release
best joke was put in the trailer
lack of physical and meta comedy
didn't watch btw
>>
The first movie is of course still unmatched but I was surprised at how not completely awful this one was.
>>
>>218665771
I rewatched the original not that long ago and honestly didn't find it all that funny. Many of the gags went on too long, and definitely not as good as Airplane, Top Secret or Kentucky Fried Movie.
The original Police Squad TV series was peak though
>>
>It says here you served 10 years for man’s laughter
>Must have been a pretty good joke

>Take a seat
>No thank you, I have enough chairs at home

>lack of physical and meta comedy
anon, what are u smoking. it literally had a dog fucking scene
>>
>>218664007
I liked the bit where his internal film noir monologue from watching Pamela Anderson leave overlapped with everyone else's
>>
>>218665877
I think the problem with a lot of these sorts of movies is that the comedy is very firmly rooted in the time period. Airplane for example is still great, but there are a lot of jokes that don't hold up or don't make sense to watchers who didn't grow up in that time. Like the bit where Robert Stack gets increasingly violent with the religious peddlers in the airport is fairly funny in a vacuum, but to people who flew in the 70s/80s and had to actually deal with those nutjobs harassing people, it's a cathartic riot.
>>
>>218664007
Yeah, maybe not quite the same sort of thing as the old ones but still pretty good
>>
>>218664421
I think this is one of if not the only cops against blacks jokes i've ever liked, maybe because if you're generous you can gaslight yourself that it's about crime rates
>>
>>218665749
>best joke was put in the trailer
the full movie elevated the joke though
>>
>>218664007
the dave bautista cameo was great
>>
I think internal affairs resort and spa is an underappreciated gag
>>

Came here to post this

its not same type of humour of OG, but for the most part it was still funny,
even if joke didn't land they still managed to escalate it to something that gave me small giggle or make new one immediately after
I eye rolled when Debin came up with fake name for the girl, but near ending when Bad guy just recited the whole name from memory withou a pause, that catched me off guard

It was definitely better than the third
