was he ever a good actor?
>>
>>218664454
Yeah, he was great. Are you even a good incel mangirl?
>>
I would say he was a good typecast action star

>>218664502
if all you can do in terms of acting is have a consternated faced and speak in a gruff voice I wouldn't really call that "good acting"
>>
He was far better as a comedic actor. Once he was typecast as an action guy he clearly got bored and started phoning it in. He did good work with Shamalangadingdong, though. Fifth Element was a solid performance, too.
>>
He was a douchebag on occasion like everyone else.
>>
two dementias
>>
>>218665202
Surprisingly yes. He was too old and really out of it in the Die Hard sequels.
>>
>>218664454
Yes.

>>218664454
yes he was great in breakfast of champions and death becomes her

>17 Metascore
Oof

>do a slapstick comedy musical after die hard
Yeah.
>>
>>218665660
He kills a dog in the movie the funniest way possible.
>>
He was good when he took his role seriously and tried. He got too much of an ego and just started phoning it in, not giving a shit.
>>
>>218664454
He has a lot of great scenes in Moonlighting. He carries the entire show the season where Cybil was off because she was pregnant. Has a great scene where he confronts her father. He was great in that show.
>>218665202
He was typecast, but he had some great action movies, so it's hard not to see him as an action guy. Fifth Element is arguably one of the best sci fi movies ever made.
>>
>>218665670
He did a lot of comedy and borderline slapstick stuff on Moonlighting after Die Hard had been released. Always with that smirk

>Giving a shit about reviews on subjective matters
I'll never in my life understand why people give any thought to reviews and scores on subjective shit
>>
>>218664454
I don't know, I can't remember.

He also did Death Becomes Her. That movies doesn't get enough respect.
>>
>>218665831
I don't think he gets enough respect in general, but I think his overblown ego made him a bit off putting for a while. He had some cool bits here and there before he went into the dementia movies.

I've been rewatching Moonlighting lately and he's so fucking good on that show. It's really bittersweet to watch.

>time is a constraint by virtue of me being mortal
>filter moves by asking people that already saw them
Gee it just DOESN'T MAKE SENSE
>>
>>218665927
Yes, it makes absolutely zero sense to give any thought to reviews on subjective matters.
You live in an age where you can look up a trailer for anything you want and get an idea if you want to watch something or not.
Make up your own damn mind instead of letting other people tell you what to think on subjective matters.
>>
>>218665966
>you have glanced at its metascore so you are NOT allowed to watch the trailer for this movie
>>
>>218665966
People still want to hear opinions of others.
>>
>>218666012
You can do that afterwards. It's just better to watch something with as little knowledge towards it as possible.
