the problem is they ran off their own audience while a strong alternative emerged. Those shows he mentioned were lame. As a kid, I would not have liked them. They stopped making cool shows for young boys. So they went elsewehre. They doubled down on shit for toddlers (Teen Titans go, Modern Spongebob) because it got ratings. But that made the kids go harder into YT/anime. They worsened a problem (kids are not watching shows as much) by giving up on their demographic and focusing on toddlers/older millenials.
