>ARTHUR & LANCELOT is an unproduced 2011 film that would star Kit Harington as Arthur, Joel Kinnaman as Lancelot, Gary Oldman as Merlin, Marion Cottilard as Morgana Le Fay and Liam Neeson as Galahad. In the script, Arthur is a blacksmith who pulls Excalibur from the stone and becomes a target of the tyrant who has usurped the throne of Camelot, so he hires mercenaries Lancelot and Galahad to escort him to the wizard Merlin, who can teach him how to wield Excalibur’s power.

>ARTHUR & LANCELOT was meant to launch a trilogy chronicling Arthur’s rise to the throne and focusing on his friendship with Lancelot and how it is fractured when they both fall in love with Lady Guinevere, but Warner Bros Pictures felt Harington and Kinnaman weren’t famous enough to attract audiences and reworked the project into Guy Ritchie's KING ARTHUR: LEGEND OF THE SWORD starring Charlie Hunnam, which ended up being a critical and commercial flop.

hunnam being pushed as some big star always made me laugh.
He had SoA and Pacific Rim under his belt and that's basically it. Neither had particularly impressive acting from him

But wasn't Neeson also in Excalibur?

So?

Isn't Galahad Lancelot's son?
