What is the best non-Excalibur Arthurian movie?

Chick that wrote the book raped her own daughter.

I must admit I have a soft spot for the 2004 "realistic" version starring Clive Owen, if only for the affectionate memory of watching it with my bros in high school and silently simping for prime Keira Knightley.

Picrel is kino but it isn't very faithful to Arthurian lore.

This as well.

>Book is basically 800 pages of Arthur and Morgan wishing they could be lovers after being tricked into fucking each other
Yeah, that fits. Still an incredibly well written and entertaining book.

You are certifiable.

This show is a lot of fun. I can't get over Guinivere's casting though. Hard to imagine that Indians were a part of English medieval history...

I liked how the knights were Scythian auxiliaries and the movie's translation of that was making that one guy a samurai, lol.

That was a very fun creative take on it. I enjoyed this very much as a kid.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail off course. Followed by this >>218678537 and the sword in the stone.

And somehow the story is even worse than that.

I'll say it. The Dailywire adaption of Stephen Lawhead's Pendragon Cycle series was great.

I started reading the books after and was surprised how faithful they were to the source material even though they skipped a lot.

I really dig the combo of roman empire/saxon invasion coupled with the atlantis lore. They really fucking trolled the viewers when one of the first fucking scenes is the bull-dancing thing from the first book and I was fully expecting a retarded girlboss type bait and switch.
