You go ahead. Have your little soiree.

Still one of the best dragon movies
>>
Movies like this were considered forgettable and average/shit at the time. Yet, released today, it would blow the vast majority of films the fuck out.
>>
better dragons than game of thrones and didnt cost 200 million dollars because they didnt outsource to mumbai

I just watched a video on this and was planning on seeing it again. The cgi isn't great but they did a ton of practical shit that still looks good, honestly this >>218694706

The premise is dumb but after that, it's a great flick.

McKinohey looked fucking badass bald with a beard. What could have been if he didn’t do the hair loss treatment.
>>
funniest part when rust jumps off the tower to axe the dragon and just gets eaten midair

>Audiences surveyed by CinemaScore gave the film a grade B on scale of A to F.[14]
>Roger Ebert gave the film one star out of four, describing it as "a vast enterprise marshaled in the service of such a minute idea", adding that "the movie makes no sense on its own terms, let alone ours. And it is such a grim and dreary enterprise. One prays for a flower or a ray of sunshine as those grotty warriors clamber into their cellars and over their slag heaps."[18]

Film critics are useless hemorrhoids on the asshole of humanity.

GATE done properly

watched it at the cinema as a kid with my grandfather, it was a great experience. Memorable film all those years later.

Garbage movie. Great idea, great cast, totally squandered.

Saw it w/ my dad in theaters, then later when it came out on DVD we rented it to watch with the whole family. I still remember both experiences and which theater/video store we went to.

Nowadays we'd probably wait until it's out on streaming, maaaaaybe watch it then definitely forget about it afterwards

One of the greatest Wyvern movies out there. I wish someone took the premise, which is all kinds of silly, and ran with it full pro mil like they do in GATE. Maybe focus on aerial engagements a tad more.

could have been much better. The idea of having a single male dragon "king" in existence still sounds turbo retarded to me to this day, but it's still an enjoyable saturday noon flick. Really cool dragons, too, and those designs are still copied in stuff like HotD and other dragon related products
