'Your Highbess', a medieval fantasy parody from the 2000s has some better action and scenery than a lot of 'serious' fantasy films.
The director or head of photography knew what made scenes interesting, layered.
The writing/dialogue wasn't good, there were some funny parts but a lot is just the main character repeating swear words.
story was simple but compelling, the town they visited interesting, the background characters and spots were different and memorable.
would be nice if there could be more like that, instead of the deliberately pre-ruined boring noise fests that are normally made.
also Natalie Portman was exquisite.
