I thought so too, but then I realized what I hated was the stupid "anime style" Japanese made to cater to manchildren. Real Japanese spoken by humans sounds quite nice.

Considering Mercy and Hail Mary are both recent Amazon movies, I suspect Amazon in particular is making a big push to do vtuber interviews, for whatever reason.
