A big part of the fishtank charm was them being isolated from the world completely, interacting among themselves and organically showing personality and their traits. Every new visitor was cherished, every new item/activity was exciting.When a freeloader joined it was uncanny even for the viewers, let alone the fish. Now it feels like an open house where people come and go, dogs around the place, cameramen following them around 24/7 and production constantly intervening and not even gaslighting them anymore.I still think it's an alright show, but I think it has lost most of the elements that made it interesting in the first place.
