Your genes arent determinative of development. Most of it comes downs to hormones in the womb, which can be imbalanced. The youngest of sons is massively more likely to be gay for example. There is a hypothesis that it’s due to the mother being less able to produce the right hormones during pregnancy.
But all babies are neither male nor female in the early stages of development. Sex hormones are what trigger development, and it occurs with different hormones at different stages. The brain is one of the last things to develop.
If you believe in differences between male and female brains, and no doubt you do, then there is no reason to disbelieve that the brain could develop in a way more similar to the opposite sex.

Each part of you develops at a different stage and with different hormones. The brain is one of the last things to develop. Not at all how it works. Babies are in utero for 9 months for good fucking reason. It’s a very slow process. The mother’s hormone levels are constantly in flux every single day of its duration.

We can literally measure how much more likely a boy is to turn out gay based on how many older brothers we have. We can measure the immune systems of their mothers and see that they are particularly defensive towards proteins relating to male development. Each older brother increases the probability of the youngest brother being gay. There would be no reason for the figure to compound if it was due to fraternal rape- but there would be a compounding effect if each pregnancy affected how the mother’s biology interacted with the chemicals for male development. And we can measure that this is exactly what is going on by testing for those chemicals in the mother’s blood.
