I thought the movie was good. It's easy to see how much they cut it down for pacing, since the book is kind of a lab procedural that most people wouldn't have the autism to sit through hours of. I still want to see an extended cut that shows a lot of the minor scenes that got glossed over. The first half of the movie was nearly a montage to condense things.Stuff I didn't like: Leaned too much into broad comedy. Grace in the book thinks like a retarded redditor but it's not a comedy plot. They also inserted new scenes instead of showing more book content.Wish Stratt hadn't been humanized in the movie. Book Stratt was a bitch and Grace hated her. I wish they'd had the original ended where Rocky tells Grace the sun is working again a decade later. I thought that had a lot more impact.
